A Celtic Christmas

This festive season enjoy cherished carols with a Celtic twist – sung by opera singer Caitlin Downie accompanied by a fantastic traditional band.
Having both an Irish and Scottish heritage, Downie created the show to celebrate authentic Celtic music. It features instruments used in years gone by including the bouzouki, bodhran, low whistle and Uilleann pipes.
Featuring beloved songs passed down from generation to generation, such as Joy to the World, The Holly and the Ivy and We Three Kings, this is yuletide music entwined with ancient festive folk tunes. This intimate musical experience promises glad tidings for the year ahead is guaranteed to put you in the Christmas mood.

Caitlin has produced and performed sell out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
